What could possibly be scarier than the weird, terrifying world of The Upside Down?

Try being a teen in an 80’s summer.

Netflix has dropped the new trailer for season 3 of its hit original series Stranger Things. The first thing we notice is that Mike, Dustin, Will, Lucas, Max have grown.

Oh, and Eleven has hair. And nosebleeds still.

The teen angst that comes along with puberty is strong in this 2-minute and 47-second trailer.

It opens with Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) getting the bejesus scared out of him at surprise party thrown by Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink).

The rest of the trailer, which first appeared in The Wrap, is set to The Who’s “Baba O’Riley.” This really serves as a perfect score to all of the summer lovin’ and scares the teens of Hawkins are about to go through on break. Watch the trailer below:

The trailer’s humorous tone seems to go in a slightly different direction than the previous seasons which were ominous, but it could also be masking the terrors that lie ahead for the Hawkins Scooby crew. We shall see.

Stranger Things begins streaming on Netflix this July 4.
