The film, written for the screen and directed by his daughter Ishana Night Shyamalan and based on the novel by A.M. Shine, has released a brand-new trailer that offers a glimpse into the eerie world of the story.
The Watchers follows the journey of Mina, a 28-year-old artist who finds herself stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. Seeking shelter, Mina inadvertently becomes trapped alongside three strangers. As night falls, they discover they are being watched and stalked by mysterious creatures, unseen but ever-present.
The trailer teases a suspenseful narrative, where the characters must navigate the darkness of the forest while being hunted by these unseen entities. Dakota Fanning (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Ocean’s Eight), Georgina Campbell (Barbarian, Suspicion), Oliver Finnegan (Creeped Out, Outlander), and Olwen Fouere (The Northman, The Tourist) lead the cast, promising powerful performances that will immerse viewers in the chilling atmosphere.
