This impressive achievement includes accolades for ABC, Disney+, FX, Hulu, National Geographic, and more, marking a historic night for the entertainment giant.
Leading the charge was FX, which earned 36 awards, the most of any Disney brand or studio. Shōgun, the epic FX series based on the James Clavell novel, made history with 19 wins, becoming the most-awarded series in a single year. Major honors included Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actor for Hiroyuki Sanada, Lead Actress for Anna Sawai, and Directing for Frederick E.O. Toye.
The Bear also made waves, collecting 11 wins and breaking its own record for the most Emmys won by a comedy series in a single year. Highlights included wins for Lead Actor Jeremy Allen White, Supporting Actress Liza Colón-Zayas, and Supporting Actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
Disney Branded Television’s Jim Henson Idea Man became the most-awarded documentary of the year, claiming five wins, while Only Murders in the Building and The Oscars contributed to Disney’s total tally with additional wins.
This record-breaking performance underscores Disney’s dominance in television, with 57 of its wins coming from streaming platforms Hulu and Disney+, showcasing the company’s evolution in the digital space.
