TigerLily expands creative team with editor Sol Raxlen

TigerLily Sol

Creative and production studio TigerLily has welcomed editor Sol Raxlen to its growing team. A versatile talent, Raxlen has worked on Telly Award-winning campaigns for brands like Dunkin’ Donuts and Corvette. His short film, A Plague of Wasps, recently premiered at the Bushwick Film Festival, further showcasing his storytelling expertise. Since joining TigerLily, he has already contributed to projects for FIS, Advance Auto Parts, and IQ Fiber.

“Sol is a skilled editor who seamlessly integrates with our multi-hyphenate team of creatives,” says Brenda Kolb, TigerLily CEO and Founder. “He jumped right in, quickly adapted to our workflow, and is already helping refine and enhance our creative pipeline for the future.”

Raxlen, who specializes in both commercial and narrative editing, was drawn to TigerLily’s diverse portfolio, particularly in animation and documentary-style content. “At TigerLily, I’ve experienced nothing but great people and exciting opportunities coming together,” he says. “I’m a big fan of their work, and I’m excited to continue growing as an editor here.”

Before joining TigerLily, Raxlen worked as a freelance video editor, contributing to Pittsburgh’s NFL Draft pitch. Prior to that, he was a Senior Video Editor at LAIR, where he earned awards for Craft Editing on a Dunkin’ social campaign featuring Nestor Cortés Jr. and Chevrolet’s Project Gemini, celebrating the Z06 Corvette.

A Brazilian American with a creative lineage—his father a film director and his mother a harlequin-turned-sociology-PhD—Raxlen has always been drawn to storytelling, performance, and personal narratives. He started his career as a production assistant before transitioning into post-production, cutting directors’ cuts, behind-the-scenes promos for Vikings on History, and various KISS nail and lash campaigns.

Proficient in Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Avid, and After Effects, Raxlen has edited projects for major brands including MLB Network, HGTV, the United Nations Climate Summit, Delta, Acer, Bounty, and Toyota.

“As an editor, I focus on two key pillars: storytelling and emotion,” Raxlen explains. “Even in a 30-second spot, the challenge is to connect with the audience and make them feel something. It’s all about creative problem-solving.”

Outside of the edit bay, Raxlen spends his time window-shopping for E30s, trying to convince people to try Farofa, and maintaining a love-hate relationship with Duolingo.

Reel 360 News wishes Sol the best of luck at TigerLily.
