The virtual 2021 Sundance Film Festival begins

The 2021 Sundance Film Festival begins on January 28, and while it can be navigated in pajamas from the comfort of your couch (highly recommended, by the way!) they’ve packed a whole lot into the next seven days, from sunrise to sundown.

Reel 360 will be reporting on the festival all week but we recommend that you start your day by logging onto The Sundance Dailies, where Festival director Tabitha Jackson will recap the happenings from the day before and fill you in on what’s to come. There will be plenty of special guests making coffee and chatting from their own kitchens.

AND UP ON MAIN STREET…

This year, the whole world comes together on Main Street. Free and open to all, it’s where you’ll go for thought-provoking conversations, yoga classes, live music, and so much more. It’s the thoroughfare to Acura’s Festival Village and its can’t-miss daily Watch Party. It’s where you’ll find SundanceTV HQ and interviews with Festival filmmakers like Jamila Wignot and Questlove. It’s where you can stop into Chase Sapphire on Main for daily panels with guests like Rita Moreno and Zoe Lister-Jones, hosted by the LA Times. It’s where Adobe will showcase new creative voices in film. And it’s where you’ll find countless opportunities to experience the magic of Park City’s Main Street right here online. Check in daily and be sure not to miss the myriad of free panels and special events.

These last 12 months have brought a lot of challenges to us all, but nothing could stop us from celebrating independent film, visionary artists, unique perspectives, and adventurous audiences.
