The Boys draws blood at CCXP with first teaser

The Boys

Let’s go! The fifth and final season of The Boys, from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, will premiere exclusively on Prime Video April 8, 2026.

Prime Video blew the roof off CCXP Brazil today as more than 3,000 screaming fans packed the Thunder Stage for a carnage-soaked celebration of The Boys and the long-awaited announcement of its final season premiere date.

Showrunner and executive producer Eric Kripke stormed the stage with cast members Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone and Colby Minifie to relive the goriest, most unhinged moments of the series before unleashing the first teaser for Season Five. The crowd lost its collective mind.

Season Five of the multi-Emmy Award-winning The Boys kicks off April 8, 2026, with a two-episode drop, followed by weekly installments leading to a brutal, no-turning-back series finale on May 20, 2026. The final run will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.

And make no mistake, this last chapter isn’t dialing back the violence. It’s accelerating straight into the meat grinder.

In Season Five, Homelander has reshaped America into his own deranged playground, ruling through fear, ego and the constant threat of casual mass murder. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie have been locked away in a so-called “Freedom Camp.” Annie is scraping together a resistance with almost no hope left, and Kimiko has vanished without a trace.

Meanwhile, Butcher staggers back into the fight, clutching a doomsday virus that could wipe every Supe off the planet. Choosing whether to use it will set off a chain reaction that blows open The Boys’ entire world. This is the endgame. Nobody walks out clean. Watch below:

The Boys is based on the New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers. Executive producers also include Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Judalina Neira, Jessica Chou, Gabriel Garcia, Ori Marmur, Ken F. Levin and Jason Netter.

The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios in association with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film and Point Grey Pictures.
