‘The Batman’ resumes production in time for Bat Day

(We are all Batman on Friday September 19)

Capes out. Cowls on. It’s time to celebrate all things Bat. After a brief hiatus (again) due to star Robert Pattinson testing positive for coronavirus, Matt Reeves’ production of The Batman is. back on.

Today, Warner Bros. confirmed that cameras are again rolling.

“Following a hiatus for COVID-19 quarantine precautions, filming has now resumed on The Batman in the UK,” said a studio rep-issued statement (via THR).

The studio did not mention whether Pattinson was back in the Bat-suit, but The Daily Mail reckons the actor has returned to the set after spotting him out and about in London with girlfriend Suki Waterhouse. Watch the teaser trailer below which premiered at DC FanDome last month:

And it’s all happening just in time to celebrate September 19, which is Batman Day. HBO Max is celebrating the day of the Dark Knight with a slew of films to stream:

The Batman is (hopefully) set to be released next October, and also stars Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and more. In the meantime, get your Bat on with the films above.
