Tessa Ohlendorf is new North American President for Coegi

Tessa Ohlendorf

True Independent Holdings (TIH) has named Tessa Ohlendorf as President, North America for Coegi, the digital media agency within TIH’s portfolio. In her new role, Ohlendorf will oversee operations in the U.S. and Canada, with a mandate to accelerate growth and expand adoption of artificial intelligence and machine-learning tools across the company’s programmatic, connected TV (CTV), and social-media offerings. She started on August 1.

Ohlendorf succeeds U.S. CEO Sean Cotton, who will remain with Coegi in a consulting role to provide strategic guidance during the transition.

“Tessa brings visionary leadership, technology expertise, and operational acumen to Coegi,” said Jack Miller, CEO of TIH. “Her track record of scaling organizations, fostering innovation, and building high-performing teams positions her to unify our North American operations and capitalize on tremendous growth opportunities.”

With 25 years of programmatic and mar-tech leadership experience, Ohlendorf most recently founded and led Fabric Folk, advising agencies and brands on responsible AI adoption and change management. She previously launched and scaled Cadreon (now Kinesso) for IPG Mediabrands Canada and served as Managing Director of MightyHive (now Media.Monks). Throughout her career, she has built high-retention teams, secured long-term client partnerships, and delivered measurable growth across multiple sectors.

“I’m thrilled to join Coegi at such an exciting inflection point,” Ohlendorf said. “Coegi’s technology-first approach and talented team are primed to help brands and agencies reach consumers in meaningful ways, navigate the evolving landscape, and drive measurable business results.”

Recognized among AdExchanger and AdMonsters’ Top Women in Media & Ad Tech, Ohlendorf has also led teams to multiple Great Place to Work honors. She holds executive certificates from the Rotman School of Management, Smith School of Business, MIT, and UC Berkeley, and is a frequent speaker on AI strategy, operational innovation, and values-based leadership.

Her appointment follows TIH’s recent integration into the Meet The People (MTP) network, expanding the agency group’s ability to deliver specialized marketing services across North America.

Reel 360 News wishes Tessa the best of luck in her new role.
