Chicago and L.A.-based Tessa Films has appointed Veronica Lombardo of VLM to handle representation on the West coast. VLM joins a Tessa national sales team that includes Ilene Silberman of Silberman Productions on the East Coast, Amy McIntyre of Beeline Representation in the Midwest and Sharon Swanson and Perry Tongate of Sharon & Perry in Texas and the Southeast.

Tessa joins a VLM roster that includes Alchemy X, Residency, FELLOW, kroma digital cosmetics and Yessian Music.
Lombardo was introduced to Masseur by a mutual friend, and met Masseur’s partner and Tessa Co-Founder, Executive Producer Reid Brody, at the Dallas AICP Show screening last fall. To boot, Lombardo is friends with Toben Seymour, one of the directors on the Tessa roster, who was also on hand at the Dallas event. “There were too many connections between us for me not to notice,” she says.

“What attracted me to the company, besides Lisa’s vision and energy, is that she’s constantly on the lookout for young talent with great work. I knew that with a little cultivation — and the expansion of Lisa’s already established connections by way of my Rolodex — that we’d be able to bring Tessa to that next level,” Lombardo adds.
