Sydney Sweeney is getting an early start on her birthday celebration – and naturally, she’s doing it in lingerie. And her world-renowned boobs.
As Virgos, we applaud our Virgo sister for this.
The Euphoria star has unveiled “Birthday Boobs,” the newest collection from her lingerie brand SYRN, timed to her 29th birthday on September 12. The capsule officially launched September 1 and puts Sweeney front and center in another deliberately provocative campaign for the rapidly growing brand.
Photographed by Greg Swales, the campaign turns a retro-inspired kitchen into Sweeney’s birthday playground, complete with cakes, balloons, rolling pins, milk bottles and plenty of lace. In one image, Sweeney lounges in a sheer black floral bra, matching thong and garter while digging into birthday cake. In another, she poses topless with strategically placed cakes doing the work of a bra.
Subtle, this is not.
But subtlety has never really been the point of SYRN.
Since launching the brand in January, Sweeney has made herself an essential part of its marketing, not simply attaching her name to the label but serving as its founder, model and most effective advertising vehicle.
“Birthday Boobs” lands within SYRN’s “Romantic” category, one of four personalities the brand uses to organize its collections alongside Seductress, Playful and Comfy. The new capsule includes bras, thongs, camisoles, matching sets and garter belts in baby blue, baby pink and black, with chiffon, floral details, bows and embroidery giving the collection its softer aesthetic. Sweeney has described herself as a “lovergirl at heart,” saying she wanted the birthday collection to feel especially romantic.
The launch also introduces embroidery to SYRN for the first time, including the phrase “I really love you” recreated from Sweeney’s own handwriting.
“It’s like a love note you get to wear,” Sweeney said of the collection.
The birthday theme extends through every aspect of the campaign. Sweeney previously teased the collection with a video of herself baking in lingerie before revealing the full imagery, turning what could have been a straightforward product drop into another social-first event built around her persona.
The collection continues SYRN’s broader push toward inclusive sizing, with pieces ranging from XXS to 3X and bras offered across 44 sizes. Prices range approximately from $19 to $64.
Sweeney launched SYRN earlier this year after speaking openly about her own difficulty finding bras that properly fit her body. Rather than positioning the brand as traditional luxury lingerie, she has leaned hard into personality, confidence and humor – and, yes, a very intentional awareness of the attention surrounding her body.
That approach is probably best summed up by one of SYRN’s own taglines:
“From Syd’s boobs to yours.”
With “Birthday Boobs,” Sweeney once again demonstrates that she understands exactly what makes her personal brand valuable. The campaign is sexy, knowingly cheeky and virtually engineered for social sharing — while still keeping the actual product at the center.
As for what Sweeney plans to wear when she officially turns 29 on September 12?
After this campaign, expectations may be difficult to top.
