Television’s biggest stars gathered at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles for the 77th Emmy Awards, where the industry celebrated a season of groundbreaking storytelling, heartfelt performances, and historic wins.

Hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze and broadcast live on CBS (streamed on Paramount+), the night crowned The Studio (Apple TV+), The Pitt (HBO | Max), and Adolescence (Netflix) as the standout winners of the 2024–2025 television season.

The Emmy evening also honored Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen with the prestigious Bob Hope Humanitarian Award, recognizing their decades of charitable work and social advocacy.

A Night of Milestones and Tributes

The Emmy telecast highlighted television milestones, including the 50th season of Survivor, the 20th anniversary of Grey’s Anatomy, the 35th anniversary of Law & Order, and the 25th anniversary of Gilmore Girls.

Performances included Lainey Wilson and Vince Gill delivering a stirring rendition of Gill’s “Go Rest High on That Mountain” for the “In Memoriam” segment. Reba McEntire, Karen Fairchild, and Kimberly Schlapman reunited for a special Golden Girls tribute, performing the beloved theme song, “Thank You for Being a Friend.”
