Stranger Things 5 release dates revealed

Stranger Things

Time to grab your walkie, dig up your mixtapes, and brace yourself for Hawkins’ last stand. Netflix has officially revealed the release schedule for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things — and it’s coming this fall, just in time to ruin your Thanksgiving leftovers and haunt your holiday spirit.

Here’s the drop schedule:

📅 Vol. 1Four episodes land on November 26
🎄 Vol. 2Three episodes arrive on Christmas Day
🎆 FinaleOne massive episode drops New Year’s Eve

All episodes go live at 5:00 p.m. PT, so set your clocks (and your snacks) accordingly.

What to Expect in Season 5

Set in the fall of 1987, the new season picks up in a fractured Hawkins. The Rifts have torn the town apart, Vecna is missing, and the U.S. government is hunting Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) like it’s The X-Files. With Hawkins under military quarantine and the anniversary of Will’s disappearance looming, a new darkness rises — one that could make previous seasons look like child’s play.

According to the Duffer Brothers, we’re finally diving deep into the Upside Down’s origin story. “The last remaining questions that are answered in that document [we wrote for Netflix], we’ve punted a couple of those to have some big reveals in Season 5,” said Ross Duffer. Translation: Get ready for lore bombs. Watch the trailer below:

The official synopsis promises the ultimate showdown: “Our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna… To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — everyone-the full party—standing together, one last time.”

In other words, this is Endgame for the Hawkins crew.

Who’s Back?

Everyone. And we mean everyone:

Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, and more. Plus Linda Hamilton joins as Dr. Kay, because if the Demogorgon didn’t scare you, Sarah Connor will.

You’ve waited long enough for Stranger Things. The final fight is coming. And it’s going to be stranger than ever. Are you ready to return to Hawkins one last time?

The final game is on in ‘Squid Game’ Season 3 trailer
