
Remember when Staples’ ads were funny? The Reel 360 Team sure does. Now, the office retail giant is returning to its creative roots via San Francisco-based Mc
The agency has teamed Staples with Ace of Base and iconic music video director Joseph Kahn (Taylor Swift, Brittany Spears, Lady Gaga).
In the first spot, a customer comes in for a print and says to a Staples employee, “I wanted to get a big banner printed, I saw the sign.” She’s referring to the “Print Big” banner behind him. The Team Member has another idea as he begins gyrating to the Ace of Base classic, I saw a Sign.
Suddenly the woman is thrown into a music video as other Team Members join him. Watch below:

In very funny fashion, the creative proves that even in today’s world, hyper-focused on digital and virtual growth avenues, a printed sign can still go a long way. The work will run across digital and paid social and is intended to reach small business owners for printing needs.
