Biscuit Filmworks has added rising writer-director Stanley Brock to its roster, tapping a filmmaker whose deadpan humor, sharp casting, and design-driven visuals have made him a go-to for youth-culture storytelling.
A North London native, Brock began by shooting skate films and character vignettes from his neighborhood—an eye he has since carried into branded work for Palace x Stella Artois, Arsenal, and Nike. His music-video collaborations include those with Potter Payper, Jimothy Lacoste, and Wolf Alice, and he helped ignite the viral phenomenon surrounding Louis Theroux’s “Jiggle Jiggle,” alongside Jason Derulo, Duke & Jones, and Amelia Dimoldenberg.
Most recently, Brock has been directing an Adidas series fronted by top talent, including Anthony Edwards and Rebeca Andrade, while continuing his online comedy sketches, Jonah & Stan, a rotating send-up of London’s subcultures. Across formats, his trademark is the same: playful, human performances anchored by meticulous art direction and a knack for finding the small, specific details that make a scene feel lived-in.
“I love people, I love telling stories, and I love doing what I do,” Brock said. “Joining Biscuit—home to so many directors I admire—is a real honor. I’m excited to push myself and elevate the caliber of work.”
Biscuit Filmworks UK managing director Rupert Reynolds-MacLean added: “I’ve watched Stanley’s work evolve for years. He’s a motivated, instinctive storyteller with outstanding taste in casting and narrative. This feels like the perfect moment to team up—and I’m genuinely excited about what we’ll make together.”
With Brock aboard, Biscuit deepens its bench of comedy-forward filmmakers fluent in contemporary culture—equally comfortable crafting internet-native hits and premium brand films.
Reel 360 News wishes Stanley the best of luck.
