SixTwentySix has added Jimmy Tatro to its roster of commercial directors, bringing the multihyphenate’s distinct comedic voice to advertising.
Tatro has built a career moving easily between digital media, television and film, often creating and directing his own material. He created, directed and starred in all three seasons of The Real Bros of Simi Valley, and first broke through with the viral YouTube series Life According to Jimmy, which he wrote, produced and directed with a friend.
That early success eventually led to a breakout film role in 22 Jump Street opposite Channing Tatum, followed by a string of performances that established Tatro as more than a digital comedy personality.
He earned a Critics’ Choice Award nomination for his lead performance in Netflix’s American Vandal, and his more recent credits include Netflix’s The Hawk and Paramount’s Scream 7. Upcoming projects include Amazon MGM’s Judgment Day and DC’s Gorilla Grodd, in which he is set to play the title character.

“Tatro is a creative multihyphenate,” said SixTwentySix Co-founder Jake Krask. “One of the things that impressed us most about him is the incredible depth and range of perspective and creativity that he brings to visual storytelling.”
Krask added that Tatro’s ability to work both behind and in front of the camera gives him a particularly strong instinct for performance and comedic storytelling.
Founded by Krask and Austin Barbera, SixTwentySix has produced culturally driven and entertainment-forward work for brands including Coca-Cola, Samsung, Amazon and Adidas.
Recent projects include Dunkin’s “Dunk N’ Pump” campaign with Megan Thee Stallion and a 2026 Clio-winning Nike activation at ComplexCon celebrating Lil Yachty’s Concrete Boys.
The studio’s work has also been recognized by The One Show, Webbys, Tellys, CICLOPE and the MTV VMAs.
With Tatro joining the roster, SixTwentySix is adding a director whose career has been built around exactly the kind of talent-led, comedy-forward storytelling that has become increasingly valuable to brands looking to behave more like entertainment companies.
REEL 360 News wishes Jimmy the best of luck at SixTwentySix.
