Executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan have announced the lineup of performers for the 98th Oscars, hosted by Conan O’Brien. The telecast will air live on ABC and stream live on Hulu on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, with the official red-carpet show beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.
“This year, our music performances are inspired by two of the most powerful cultural phenomena in film: Sinners, the most nominated film in Oscars history, and KPop Demon Hunters, a global pop culture sensation,” said Kapoor and Mullan. “These moments are more than performances. They are cinematic tributes that celebrate the connection between music and storytelling and why these films resonated so deeply with audiences around the world.”
The KPop Demon Hunters segment will open with a fusion of traditional Korean instrumentalists and dance, honoring the folklore and cultural influences at the heart of the animated hit. As part of the performance, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA and REI AMI, the singing voices behind HUNTR/X, will perform the Oscar-nominated original song Golden from the film.
The Sinners segment will spotlight the role music plays in the film’s storytelling, transforming that spirit into a cinematic live performance on the Oscars stage. Miles Caton and Raphael Saadiq will perform the Oscar-nominated original song I Lied To You, joined by Misty Copeland, Eric Gales, Buddy Guy, Brittany Howard, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Jayme Lawson, Li Jun Li, Bobby Rush, Shaboozey and Alice Smith in a tribute to the film’s distinctive visual style.
The show will also feature appearances by Josh Groban and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
Additional talent will be announced in the lead-up to the ceremony.
The 98th Oscars will take place Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. The ceremony will air live on ABC, stream live on Hulu and be broadcast in more than 200 territories worldwide.
