Republic has announced the promotions of Michael Wagner to Managing Director of Editorial and Design, and Kim Estrada to Executive Producer of Editorial. The leadership moves underscore Republic’s continued commitment to developing talent internally as the company heads into 2026.
In his new role, Wagner will lead client strategy across Republic’s Editorial and Design studios, support business development efforts, and coordinate closely with the company’s Production leadership. Wagner joined Republic in 2024 after nearly a decade at Charlie Uniform Tango, where he rose from Junior Producer to Executive Producer, managing national campaigns across multiple categories. Earlier in his career, Wagner worked in transportation management at BNSF Railway, an experience that helped shape his operational and strategic approach.
“Republic’s partners have built something truly special,” Wagner shared. “The vision and creative rigor that define the company set a high bar, and I look forward to continuing to learn while helping strengthen Republic’s position as thought leaders in our continually evolving market.”
Estrada, promoted to Executive Producer of Editorial, will oversee all post-production workflows and guide the editorial team’s creative and operational strategy. She began her career at Filmworkers in 2008 and later spent nearly a decade building and managing Treehouse’s editorial production operation. After gaining agency-side production experience, she joined Republic in 2021 as a Senior Producer.
“What sets Republic apart is the shared commitment to craft and collaboration across the entire team,” Estrada said. “Every person here is exceptional at what they do, and that depth of talent creates an environment built on mutual respect and high standards.”
Republic partner and Chief Operations Officer Carrie Callaway praised both leaders for earning their teams’ confidence through clarity and consistency. “They lead with accountability and understand that the strongest results come from empowering talented people,” she said.
From Reel 360 News, we wish Michael and Kim continued success in their new roles as they help shape the next chapter at Republic.
