One Warm Coat, one of the nation’s leading independent coat drive organizations, announced today that it has named New York-based Evins Communications Ltd. as its public relations agency of record.

One Warm Coat is a national non-profit organization that works to provide a free, warm coat to any person in need, and supports individuals, groups, companies and organizations across the country by providing the tools and resources needed to hold a successful coat drive. Coats are distributed in the communities where they were collected, to children and adults in need, without charge, discrimination or obligation.

Celebrating their 26th year providing warmth for those in need, the charity aims to increase both the number of individual coat drives conducted by businesses and organizations of all sizes, as well as the number of coats collected.

As AOR, Evins will manage all U.S. public relations, online and social media initiatives surrounding the organization’s programming for the 2018/2019 campaign, as well as public awareness and experiential initiatives.

“After working with Evins previously, they were the natural choice to help One Warm Coat reach an even wider audience than in the past,” said Jennifer Stockard, President & CEO of One Warm Coat. “Their creative initiatives, deep connections in the media and influencer spaces and passion for our cause made them the perfect partner agency.”

David Harrison, Senior Vice President at Evins added, “Since our initial introduction to One Warm Coat we were awed by their drive and commitment to helping provide warm coats to so many individuals in need, and we knew that if given the opportunity we’d love to assist on an ongoing basis. We’re thrilled that they felt the same way, and we are looking forward to creating a truly impactful and unforgettable campaign for the upcoming season.”

Since One Warm Coat’s inception in 1992, the organization has worked with volunteers to host more than 31,000 coat drives and have given away more than 5 million coats.
