AF’s New York Office to Handle Experience & Innovation for Fast-Growing Fitness Chain
Independent digital creative agency AnalogFolk announced today that it has been named Experience Agency of Record (AOR) for Blink Fitness, the premium-quality, value-based gym that has challenged industry norms by celebrating how exercise makes you feel, not just how it makes you look. The win followed a review.
Scope of work will consist of digital experience and innovation across Blink’s entire business – including its digital products and in-gym experience – with the potential of campaign work down the line. The business will be run out of AnalogFolk’s New York office.
“We are thrilled to be working with Blink Fitness,” said Kunal Muzumdar, Managing Director/Partner of AnalogFolk. “It is rare to find partners that are truly focused on investing in future-forward experiences that redefine their category, and the Blink Fitness team is doing just that. Whether through the in-gym experience or digital innovation, we look forward to diving in and continuing the brand’s tremendous growth.”
Founded in 2011, Blink Fitness has more than 90 locations open or in development throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California. Blink Fitness puts Mood Above Muscle™, which celebrates the positive feeling you get from exercise, not just the physical benefits. Each gym employs the company’s signature Feel Good Experience® that highlights enthusiastic staff members, a clean environment, an open, spacious, and colorful design, energizing music and fitness training that is motivating and affordable.
“We are leaning heavily on digital experience and innovation to differentiate our business against the rest of the category and carve our own path for the future,” said Sean Cosier, Senior Director, Digital Experience & Innovation at Blink Fitness. “In AnalogFolk we found the perfect partner to join us on our journey. Their uncanny ability to balance strategy and creative, while maintaining a forward-thinking vision, was one of the many reasons they were the right agency for Blink to collaborate with.”
AnalogFolk’s first work for the brand is slated for January 2019.
