Publicis Production US names John Doris EVP, Production & Craft

John Doris

Publicis Production has appointed John Doris as EVP, Production & Craft, bringing a seasoned production leader into a role focused on elevating execution across its U.S. network.

Doris arrives with nearly two decades of experience spanning some of the industry’s most respected agencies and production teams. Most recently, he served as Head of Production at Omnicom Production, where he led a team of more than 80 specialists. Prior to that, he was Head of Integrated Production at TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, where he built a 30-person in-house studio that evolved into both a creative engine and a meaningful business driver.

Earlier in his career, Doris spent more than a decade at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he produced award-winning campaigns and helped develop emerging directing talent through the New Directors’ Showcase.

In his new role, Doris will partner closely with creative and production leadership across the Publicis network, overseeing high-profile work across film, content, digital, experiential, and integrated campaigns. His remit centers on ensuring that ambitious ideas are matched by equally strong execution, particularly on large-scale, complex productions.

“John understands what it takes to turn ambitious ideas into exceptional work,” said Laura Davis, Chief Client Officer at Publicis Production. “Our clients come to us because they want to make something truly exceptional, and John’s experience, creative judgment, and deep industry relationships open up new possibilities for what we can achieve together.”

Doris emphasized the importance of craft as a differentiator in today’s landscape.

“Great work happens when creative ambition meets exceptional craft,” he said. “I’m excited to join Publicis Production and work alongside teams who care deeply about the details, helping ambitious ideas find their best possible expression.”

The appointment signals a continued investment in production leadership as agencies place greater emphasis on execution, scalability, and creative precision across an increasingly complex media landscape.

Reel 360 News wishes John the best of luck in his new role.
