Poor Things, The Bear, Barbie among ADG noms

The anticipation is building as the Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) joyfully reveals the nominees for the highly anticipated 28th Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards.

This event recognizes outstanding achievements in production design across theatrical motion pictures, television, commercials, music videos, and animated feature films.

The ADG Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 10, 2024, at the prestigious Ray Dolby Ballroom in Ovation Hollywood. The event will be hosted by the Emmy-nominated actor and comedian Max Greenfield, promising an evening filled with glamour and celebration.

A particular highlight of the ceremony will be the induction of the legendary production designer Lawrence G. Paull into the ADG Hall of Fame. Paull’s significant contributions to the industry will be honored in a fitting tribute during the event.

Producers Michael Allen Glover, ADG, and Megan Elizabeth Bell, ADG, shared their sentiments in a joint statement, expressing the honor and privilege they feel in gathering the guild to recognize the excellence within its membership. “It’s our honor and privilege to gather the guild to recognize the excellence among our members.”
