Grace-Based Films will release their inspiring new documentary, A Case For Love, across major TVOD platforms in the United States and Canada on October 1st. Directed by Brian Ide, the film draws on the teachings of Bishop Michael B. Curry, renowned for his 2018 Power of Love sermon at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The documentary centers on the concept of unselfish love as a remedy for the growing division in today’s society. Through interviews with everyday individuals and prominent public figures, it explores themes like racial justice, sexual identity, immigration, and foster care, examining how love can bridge divides. Brian Ide, the director, shared, “We’re thrilled to bring this documentary to a wide audience and hope it inspires acts of inclusion and unselfish love amid challenging times.”

The film features notable personalities such as Pete Buttigieg, Sam Waterston, and Al Roker, and is set to be available on platforms such as Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play. It is produced by Brian Ide, Steven Fleenor, and Chuck Robertson, and distributed by Stonecutter Media.

The documentary previously had a one-night theatrical premiere in January 2024, followed by a national “Month of Unselfish Love” campaign encouraging acts of kindness.
