Somewhere between painting your face and putting a jersey on the dog, we’d overlooked one piece of the game-day outfit. Pepsi and sports-fashion brand Off Season have now put a puffer jacket on a soda can.
Made for 12-ounce Pepsi cans, the miniature jackets represent 15 NFL teams. They come with team logos, custom patches, sleeves and working zippers. The sleeves are the part that gets us. Zip one up and suddenly your Pepsi looks like a head coach deciding whether to go for it on fourth down.
“The puffer jacket is where Off Season began, and I had this idea to take our signature design and turn it into something completely unexpected,” noted Kristin Juszczyk, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Off Season. “I enjoy a Pepsi at every game, so getting to partner with the brand to bring my vision to life was a perfect match. After all, there’s no better-tasting beverage to fill our miniature puffer can jackets. I can’t wait for fans to get their hands on them.”
“Pepsi has always been at the center of gameday, from the food fans enjoy to the teams they rally behind,” said Gustavo Reyna, Vice President of Marketing, Pepsi. “With Off Season, we’re turning the Pepsi can in your hand into part of your gameday fit – bringing together great taste, team pride and one of football’s most recognizable fashion statements in a way only Pepsi can.”
As the Official Soft Drink of the NFL and a partner of 15 NFL teams, Pepsi has a distinct place within the food, fandom and traditions that define football season. Pepsi x Off Season gives fans a new way to bring that team pride to the Pepsi in their hand.

What makes it work is the attention to detail. A team logo on a can sleeve gets the job done. Give it a working zipper and two tiny arms, and now you have something people will pick up, photograph and pass around the tailgate. The can might be empty by kickoff. The jacket’s going home with somebody.
