Owen Wilson delivers laid-back laughs in Wolt+ campaign

Wolt, the local commerce platform making waves across 25 countries, has launched its largest campaign to date — and it’s got Owen Wilson at the wheel. The actor and beloved laid-back icon stars in the company’s first-ever brand ambassador role, kicking off a global effort promoting Wolt+, its membership program designed to help users save time, money, and delivery fees.

Created by MacWell in collaboration with Talent Republic and directed by Nat Prisco of Arts & Sciences, the campaign leans into Wilson’s signature mix of dry wit and everyday relatability. The hero spot — filmed in Brisbane with Oscar-winning cinematographer Dion Beebe — rolls out under the tagline: “Don’t Worry. About Delivery Fees.”

Prisco says working with Wilson and Beebe made for a dream team. “It was important to let Owen be Owen,” he explains. “That meant casting authentically, keeping the tone measured, and shooting it with a grounded, cinematic style. I’ve wanted to work with Dion forever, so to do this project together — with Owen in the middle of it—was surreal. I’d say I could die happy, but that’s a dumb thing to say. Why die after something great?” Watch below:

The integrated creative features a suite of deliverables: a hero spot, social cutdowns, occasion-based shorts, and OOH key visuals. It’s launching across TV, cinema, and digital platforms this summer.

“Owen brings exactly the tone we value at Wolt — easygoing, quietly confident, and completely relatable,” says Fredrik Lucander, VP of Growth, Brand, and Ads at Wolt. “Wolt+ is just the start. This is about showing how Wolt fits into everyday life — in a way that feels local, helpful, and just a little more human.”

The campaign was filmed in Brisbane, Australia, and includes a hero spot, social cutdowns, occasion-based shorts, and key visuals. The rollout spans 25 countries across TV, cinema, and digital platforms.
