Everyone loves a rivalry. From the fans in the stands to the athletes on the field, few things fuel football quite like the clash of division foes. That’s the spirit behind Rivalries — a bold new program from Nike and the NFL that gives teams and fans something fresh to rally behind: specially designed Rivalries uniforms that celebrate local traditions and showcase community pride.
Debuting this season with eight teams across the AFC East and NFC West, the Rivalries uniforms will appear once during a designated home game against a division rival before being added to each team’s alternate lineup for the next three years. Think authentic designs, rooted in legacy, but reimagined through Nike’s lens of innovation. Take a look below at the videos:
“Nike has a rich history with football, and we’re excited to partner with the NFL on this new Rivalries program to help grow the sport and expand it for the next generation,” said Airhart Ryan, Director of NFL Apparel Product Design at Nike. “Each uniform was designed in collaboration with the club it represents to authentically reflect what makes their team, fans and communities wholly unique.”
Here’s when the new Rivalries looks will hit the field:
Arizona Cardinals: Sept. 25 vs. Seattle Seahawks
Buffalo Bills: Oct. 5 vs. New England Patriots
Los Angeles Rams: Nov. 16 vs. Seattle Seahawks
Miami Dolphins: Sept. 29 vs. New York Jets
New England Patriots: Nov. 13 vs. New York Jets
New York Jets: Dec. 7 vs. Miami Dolphins
San Francisco 49ers: Jan. 4, 2026 vs. Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks: Dec. 18 vs. Los Angeles Rams
Fan gear — including Rivalries jerseys, sideline apparel, T-shirts, hoodies, jackets and headwear — will be available starting Sept. 10 on nike.com, NFLshop.com, fanatics.com, team stores, and select international retailers across Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Australia.
“The unveiling of the first eight Rivalries club uniforms and fan gear marks a significant moment for the NFL, Nike and Fanatics,” said Taryn Hutt, vice president of club marketing at the NFL. “Rivalries will bring fresh energy to the field while providing a platform to amplify the community and hometown pride that is rooted in each NFL fan.”
With more Rivalries drops planned through 2028, expect this to be just the start of a new NFL tradition.
