Jeffrey Toobin will have some time on his hands. New Yorker Magazine has announced they have fired the longtime legal analyst after a three-week investigation into his alleged masturbation incident during a ZOOM meeting.
“I am writing to share with you that our investigation regarding Jeffrey Toobin is complete, and as a result, he is no longer affiliated with our company,’ read the memo from Condé Nast’s Chief People Officer Stan Duncan, per The Daily Beast.
Toobin announced on Twitter Wednesday afternoon he has been given the boot from the magazine after working there for 27 years. ‘I was fired today by @NewYorker after 27 years as a Staff Writer,’ he wrote.
‘I will always love the magazine, will miss my colleagues, and will look forward to reading their work.’

Toobin is also CNN’s chief legal analyst. At present, he still remains employed by the outlet.
