Although Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey has not taken flight with audiences as Warner Bros had hoped, that has not stopped the studio and the DCEU from continuing their support of actress Margot Robbie’s portrayal of the titular character. Coming in 2021, will be the sort of sequel/soft reboot to David Ayer‘s 2016 film Suicide Squad.
The Suicide Squad, from James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy Vols. 1 and 2), is in full swing and now we are beginning to see bits and pieces from the set.
The first video features Harley (Robbie) wearing a red dress as she exits a vehicle. The second bit of footage has more action, but is brief and not very clear, but reports indicate that Quinn is standing with Ratcatcher (Daniela Melchior), Polka-Dot Man (David Dastmalchian), and Idris Elba’s character, who is believed to be Vigilante.
There isn’t a lot of context for the scene being filmed as the plot has been kept under wraps, but it looks like Task Force X is getting ready to mix it up with something that has civilians running for the hills.
Just as long as it’s not the terrible wiggling Enchantress from Ayer’s critically panned film.
