Atlanta-Based Creative Agency Strengthens its Strategic Leadership with Top Talent

(ATLANTA, GA – 17 May 2018) Atlanta-based omnichannel creative agency My Friend’s Nephew (MFN) announced today the appointment Allison Brennan as Director of Insights and Strategy. The newly created position comes at a time of growth for the independent shop as it sees an increased need for strategic leadership across all of its clients.

Reporting to ECD/Principal Josh Robinson, Brennan will be responsible for guiding MFN’s clients to establish smart marketing objectives, better understand their consumers and competition, sharpen their brand expressions, develop meaningful creative work and deliver measurably better business results. Current clients include General Mills, Zocdoc, Zaxby’s restaurant chain, global real estate company Cortland Partners and Thrive Senior Living, among others.

“We are thrilled to have someone of Allison’s caliber join MFN,” said Robinson. “She is able to evenly balance left-brain/right-brain and creative/analytical strengths by taking an empathetic approach to brand building. She’s worked with a variety of clients, from global to community based, from CPG to B2B. As an agency that prides itself on Problem First Creativity, having someone like Allison is crucial in MFN’s delivery of strategic solutions that solve our clients’ problems.”

Brennan joins MFN from 360i Atlanta, where she started in 2013 as Senior Analyst, Insights & Planning and over the course of four years worked her way up to Director, Insights & Planning. During this time, Brennan led integrated marketing communications, developed research plans and crafted insights for well-known brands including Bose, SoFi, Coca-Cola, Autotrader.com and Kelley Blue Book, among others. For Bose, she helped develop a comprehensive global social strategy that involved conducting and interpreting research across 17 countries, resulting in Bose adopting the themes of the social strategy for its overall strategic direction.

Prior to 360i, Brennan was a Brand Planner at Atlanta-based Fitzgerald & Co., where she worked with brands such as Curacao Tourism Board, DEWALT, Leggett & Platt, Nutrilite and Stanley Black & Decker, to name a few.

Commenting on why she joined MFN, Brennan said: “I was drawn to Josh and Chad’s vision to ‘do great work and be great people.’ The agency has a warm, collaborative and egalitarian atmosphere created by a tight-knit crew. I’m looking forward to being part of that kind of agency culture while bringing a fresh approach to client problem solving that will expedite insight development and catalyze creative inspiration.”

Brennan is a graduate of Georgia Tech where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design. In her down time, Brennan is quasi-realizing her dreams of being on This Old House after recently purchasing a 106-year-old home, which fills her free time with house projects and renovations.
