Mother calls on Gordon Hull to lead

Mother New York announced yesterday that agency vet Gordon Hull will join the award-winning agency as Creative Director.

Over the course of his varied career, Hull has worked with brands including Pepsi, adidas, New Balance, Uniqlo, The North Face, Universal Records and Anthropologie. Here is a sample of his adidas work:

“I’ve been a huge fan of mothers, biological and chosen, since 1977,” Hull said to the advertising blog. “I couldn’t be more excited to add another into my life.”

According to AgencySpy who broke the news, Hull’s recent background includes nearly a year as CD for Anomaly Content and Entertainment. Before that, he spent over a year and a half in the same role for Chandelier Creative.

Prior to that he spent over two and a half years client-side as senior director, content creative director for Ralph Lauren. Here is a sample of Hull’s work:

He will be partner with CD Craig Love to co-lead creative on the agency’s Target account, which has grown substantially after the account ended its six-year partnership with LA-based Deutsch.

Hull and Love will report to Mother New York CCO and partner Corinna Falusi. Reel 360 wishes him luck in the new role.
