Megan Thee Stallion unleashes chaotic odyssey in new video

Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion’s new music video, Whenever, takes a wild ride into the surreal, directed by Pulse Films’ rising star Zac Dov Wiesel.

The video kicks off with a lowrider crashing into a sterile waiting room — and from there, reality unravels into a vivid fever dream. Megan pole dances on a pool cue, rides a giant chess piece, scuba dives through dreamscapes, and even encounters melting clocks and fish-headed beings. It’s a dazzling trip through the absurd, the playful, and the unapologetically imaginative. Watch below:

Australian-born and based in Los Angeles, Wiesel gained acclaim for his work with Rodney Chrome, earning a 1.4 Gold and Young Director awards. His 2024 video for Audrey Nuna’s Cellulite picked up a CICLOPE Bronze and multiple UK Music Video Award nominations, including Best New Director. Since then, he’s continued pushing boundaries, directing Nuna’s dreamlike Baby OG and the futuristic Mine, as well as Confidence Man’s unforgettable nude helicopter ride for “I Can’t Lose You.”

Now repped by Pulse Films, Wiesel cements his reputation as one of music video’s boldest new voices — and “Whenever” may be his most ambitious, mind-bending vision yet.
