The broadcast and digital series, “Explained by Megan Thee Stallion,” marks a bold intersection of basketball, music, and culture, spotlighting Fanatics’ industry-leading FanCash rewards and Fair Play injury protection with Megan’s trademark confidence and flair.
Created in partnership with Anomaly, the campaign represents the third collaboration between the agency and Fanatics Betting & Gaming. It signals a continued push to fuse premium storytelling with culture-driven fan experiences.
Set on a dramatically lit basketball court, the campaign opens with Megan commanding a 25-piece orchestra from center court, part maestro, part mogul. As an orchestral version of her smash hit Savage swells, she breaks down how Fanatics Sportsbook is redefining the game with rewards that hit differently.
Directed by Prettybird’s Grammy-winning filmmaker Calmatic (Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Squabble”), the spot turns the traditional sportsbook ad on its head. Instead of high-stakes tension, it’s swagger and spectacle: Megan conducts musicians dressed in NBA team colors, underscoring that no matter who you root for, Fanatics Sportsbook makes fandom rewarding.
Throughout the film, Megan walks fans through how FanCash works, earned on bets, win or lose, and redeemable across the entire Fanatics ecosystem: official NBA merchandise, game tickets, collectibles, exclusive experiences, Bonus Bets, and more.
