Martin, Short and Gomez are back in Only Murders in the Building S4 trailer

Only Murders

Hulu has just dropped the highly anticipated trailer for the fourth season of the Emmy-winning comedy series Only Murders in the Building. The hit show, starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, is set to return on August 27, with new episodes streaming every Tuesday.

Season four picks up where the shocking events of season three left off, focusing on Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) as they unravel the mystery surrounding Charles’ stunt double and friend, Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch). The trio is left questioning whether Sazz or Charles was the true target of a recent attack, propelling them on a thrilling investigation that takes them from New York City to Los Angeles.

In a surprising twist, the story sees our amateur sleuths delve into Hollywood’s bustling studio scene, where a film about their Only Murders podcast is in the works. As they rush back to the familiar confines of New York, they must navigate an even more perilous journey, one that leads them into the mysterious lives of the Arconia’s West Tower residents. Watch below:

Returning for season four are series regulars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, along with Michael Cyril Creighton. The season also boasts an impressive lineup of special guest stars, including Meryl Streep, Zach Galifianakis, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Richard Kind, Jane Lynch, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Molly Shannon, and more.

Only Murders in the Building is co-created by Martin and John Hoffman, who also serve as executive producers alongside Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, a division of Disney Television Studios.

With its signature blend of humor, mystery, and star power, season four of Only Murders in the Building promises to deliver more twists and laughs as it explores new dimensions of its beloved characters and their quirky world. Fans won’t want to miss what’s in store for Charles, Oliver, and Mabel when the series returns later this month.
