Logan Industry signs director Tibor Glage

Full-service production company Logan Industry, which launched earlier this year, welcomes award-winning director Tibor Glage to its roster. Glage studied film at the London International Film School where he worked with Terry Gilliam, Mike Figgis, Piotr Sobociński and Freddie Francis.

Glage is known for his cinematic visuals, kinetic shooting style and narrative storytelling. He has directed commercials for a wide range of brands including Mercedes, Audi, Lamborghini, Ledlenser, Huawei, IKEA, McDonald’s and Volkswagen, to note just a few. His work has been honored by Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show, Epica, Eurobest and NY Festivals, among others.

“Tibor is the most prepared director I’ve ever worked with.”

José Nuñez, FOUNDING PARTNER/EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Nuñez adds, “He does his homework, comes on set before the crew, ready to go. He’s truly amazing. Tibor says it’s probably the German in him. A big reason why we signed him is the fact that he’s a team player and is excellent with clients and agencies. At Logan Industry, our directors have to check all these boxes. Tibor does that and more.”

Nuñez recently co-founded Logan Industry with experienced financier Gonzalo Troncoso and serial entrepreneurs Andy Rosillo and Eu Correa. The four partners have instilled a culture of familial camaraderie that inspires Logan Industry’s creative identity and drive.

Signing Glage is a coup for startup Logan Industry, adding a tremendous talent who has filmed epic campaigns all over the world, for example, showcasing Dodge in the majestic lonely landscape of Alaska, Ford in the sprawling and extreme Gobi rain shadow Desert and Ledlenser in a hidden waterfall in Chile.

“I’m excited to be part of the Logan Industry family,” Glage said. “I’ll work on brand campaigns that portray life authentically and as emotionally as possible. That’s my forte. Yes, I shoot cars and motorbikes, but I hope to collaborate with sports brands like Nike and adidas, and outdoor lifestyle brands like The North Face and Patagonia, and of course a lot of others.”

“Tibor is an incredibly well-rounded filmmaker,” said Logan Industry Executive Producer Paul Kawasaki. “Not only can he deliver cinematic visuals, he also understands the beats of performance, both dramatic and comedic. Add to that his love of the outdoors and sports – he’s an ex-skydiver and current triathlete – which is a great fit for the action sports genre. We’re excited to bring him new opportunities from the U.S. market.”

In between commercial projects, Glage is working on a documentary about sustainable companies.

Reel 360 wishes Tibor all the best at Logan Industry.
