LeBron James leads celebrity chaos at Polymarket HQ

Polymarket

Polymarket is turning prediction markets into a full-blown sports spectacle with a new campaign led by LeBron James and a deep bench of celebrity talent.

Created by Stagwell agency today on the moon and directed by Peter Berg, the campaign introduces Polymarket’s new “Squads” brand platform through a fictional Polymarket headquarters where sports, trading and entertainment collide.

James serves as the central figure and narrator in the hero film, “Welcome to Polymarket HQ,” joined by an unusually stacked cast that includes Spike Lee, Derek Jeter, Eli Manning, John Leguizamo, Emily Ratajkowski and Sue Bird.

Rather than treating the stars like untouchable icons, the campaign leans into comedy. Athletes get moments that reference their playing careers, sometimes at their own expense, while the office around them devolves into controlled chaos.

The work captures the pace and unpredictability of live team trading while tying into the start of the NFL season. Cubicles and conference rooms turn into a sports-infused trading floor filled with marching bands, cheerleaders, confetti, and constant reactions as results come in. Watch below:

“Sports is one of the most passionate, unpredictable, and competitive places you can take a brand, and Polymarket gave us the room to really play in that space,” Tom Suharto, chief strategy officer at Today on the Moon, told LBB Online.

“The idea of ‘Polymarket HQ’ gave us a world where trading, sports and entertainment could all collide, with a cast that makes the whole thing feel larger than life.”

The campaign also includes four additional films: “Football Chaos,” “Not a Nice Person,” “Breathe In Trade Out” and “Eli’s Squad.” Each expands the Polymarket HQ world while highlighting different elements of the platform and the behavior around sports prediction. Watch below:

The tone moves between slapstick, action and quieter character beats, with Berg using the oversized cast to make the workplace feel less like a fintech office and more like a sports arena that happens to have desks.

The campaign follows Polymarket’s previous work featuring Rick Rubin, which took a more curious, globe-spanning approach. This time, the focus shifts directly to sports culture and the competitive instinct behind predicting what happens next.

“Everyone has a friend who thinks they know what’s going to happen next,” said Travis VanderZanden, Polymarket’s chief growth officer. “We’re giving them a place to prove it.”

He added that “Polymarket HQ” was designed to translate the energy of sports and prediction markets into something bold, social and recognizable for the brand, while “Squads” brings that same idea into the product itself.

With James anchoring the action and Jeter, Manning, Bird, Lee, Leguizamo and Ratajkowski filling out the office, Polymarket has essentially built a fantasy workplace where everybody thinks they know the score before it happens.

Which, come to think of it, is pretty much every sports office already.
