Kristin Chenoweth unleashes the dogs for Avocados spot

KC Avocados From Mexico BTS 12 Approved FINAL

The actor pulls off
some of the best
four-legged humor

“Best in Show”
in new Super Bowl
teaser from Energy BBDO

Energy BBDO unleashed a Super Bowl teaser video that features Kristin Chenoweth coaching a trio of canines on the proper way to sing the Avocados from Mexico jingle.

The 15-second Chorus stars the screen and stage veteran as the leader of a dog chorus rehearsing in a competitive arena. Besides pulling off some of the best four-legged humor this side of Best in Show, it sets a humorous stage for Avocados from Mexico’s fifth appearance at the Big Game.

Formed in 2013, Avocados from Mexico is a not-for-profit that coordinates marketing activities for the Mexican Hass Avocados Importers Association (MHAIA) and The Association of Growers and Packers of Avocados From Mexico (APEAM). The organization selected Energy BBDO as its agency of record last May.

The 2018 Avocados from Mexico media budget was estimated at $30 million.

To bring this year’s campaign to life ahead of the Big Game, the brand has partnered with Adopt-A-Pet to support the commercial concept that involves dog adoption technology using IBM Watson AI to engage consumers in a unique way beyond the broadcast – and hopefully give some dogs new homes in the process!
