Kinder Bueno makes its first-ever Super Bowl appearance this year with “Yes Bueno,” a cinematic, space-bound debut that introduces the brand to America by turning everyday disasters into moments of indulgence. Starring Paige DeSorbo and William Fichtner, the campaign reframes the chaos of modern life through the brand’s signature promise: crispy wafer, smooth chocolate, creamy hazelnut, and a simple, satisfying payoff.
“This is one of the biggest cultural moments of the year, and it’s the perfect stage to really introduce Kinder Bueno to America,” said Chad Stubbs, Chief Marketing Officer, Ferrero North America. “While Kinder Bueno is already beloved around the world, we know many Americans haven’t experienced it yet. ‘Yes Bueno’ is our playful invitation to discover what makes it so special – that unexpected combination of crispy wafer and smooth hazelnut cream that’s unlike anything else. We’re confident that once people try it, they’ll understand why it’s a global favorite.”
Created in partnership with Anomaly and directed by Björn Rühmann, the 30-second spot unfolds as a high-stakes space mission gone sideways. Two astronauts attempt to navigate a dangerous journey through a star-filled galaxy while mission control back on Earth, played by Fichtner and DeSorbo, tracks their progress. Meteor showers, alien encounters, and a plunge through a black hole follow, yet each moment that should signal disaster is met with calm enjoyment of Kinder Bueno, transforming “No Bueno” into “Yes Bueno.”
The film leans fully into surreal spectacle. As the mission escalates, the astronauts take on a series of unexpected forms, becoming comic characters, gnomes, porcelain figurines, clowns, and, finally, infant versions of themselves still encased in spacesuits. The spot closes with Kinder Bueno orbiting the frame as the narrator delivers the line, “Irresistible chocolate, wafer, hazelnut. Yes, Bueno.”Watch below:
“Yes, Bueno is intentionally and overtly simple,” said Dan Shapiro, Group Creative Director at Anomaly. “When we had the opportunity to bring it to the biggest stage, we leaned into the scale people expect in a self-aware, tongue-in-cheek way. Having world-class partners across production and trusting clients with a sense of humor gave us the freedom to fully embrace that ambition. By treating something small and delicious with total seriousness and repeating that brand name, Yes Bueno turns a simple product truth into something huge, fun, and strong enough to carry the brand long after the game is over.”
That commitment to scale shows up in the craft. Production shipped a real spacecraft fuselage, complete with working lights, along with authentic astronaut suits and helmets worn on set. Rather than staging mission control in a conventional office environment, the team used a volumetric screen to create an immersive wall of emergency graphics and spacecraft visuals, which also influenced in-camera lighting. The same technology was used to depict the black hole sequence, with swirling graphics reflecting directly onto the actors’ faces.
To push practical filmmaking even further, the team built a physical miniature alien planet set and captured lighting passes in-camera, reducing reliance on traditional post-production VFX. The spot was brought to life by production designer Jeremy Hindle and director of photography Mike Gioulakis, grounding the surreal narrative in tactile detail.
Beyond the 30-second, the campaign includes a 45-second extended cut and a full 360-degree rollout spanning influencer partnerships, paid media, e-commerce, retail displays, packaging, and limited-edition white and dark chocolate flavors. Kinder Bueno is also running a national Game Day Sweepstakes through March 31, 2026, offering weekly prizes and a $25,000 grand prize.
“Yes Bueno” airs nationally during the Super Bowl on February 8, 2026, marking Kinder Bueno’s official arrival on advertising’s biggest stage.
