Kendrick Lamar leads GRAMMY nominations

After leaving the 2025 GRAMMY Awards as the year’s top winner, Kendrick Lamar is once again leading the pack. The hip-hop icon scored nine nominations for the 2026 GRAMMYs, including Record, Song, and Album of the Year, making him the most-nominated artist for the second consecutive year.

Close behind are Lady Gaga and producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut, each earning seven nods. Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Leon Thomas, and mixing engineer Serban Ghenea followed with six apiece, further proving the global and genre-blurring reach of this year’s competition.

Lamar’s total career GRAMMY nominations now stand at 66, with 22 wins. His new track luther, featuring SZA, picked up both Record and Song of the Year nods, while his latest project GNX earned his fifth Album of the Year nomination.

Lady Gaga returned in full force with MAYHEM, marking her first sweep of the “Big Four” categories since The Fame era. Her single Abracadabra landed her additional nods in both Record and Song of the Year.

The 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, airing live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ Premium at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
