Camilla Araujo, a dead ringer for Grammy-award-winning singer Katy Perry and founder of the Bop House content collective, is officially stepping away from OnlyFans after earning $20 million on the platform.
In a video posted to her Instagram on Monday, the 23-year-old addressed fans directly and confirmed her decision to quit. “Y’all know when I sit here it means I have something to say,” she said. “I’m quitting OnlyFans. Yeah, I’m quitting. This is it.”
Araujo was quick to clarify that she is not leaving content creation or social media altogether. “No, I’m not quitting content,” she said. “I feel like a lot of the girls who left that platform just went about it in such a cringe way. They either talked badly about the girls who did it or just turned against it so hard. Let’s get one thing straight. I don’t regret it, and some of my best friends still do it. I still support my girls.”
Araujo rose to prominence during OnlyFans’ 2021 boom and credits the platform with transforming her life financially. “That platform is where I made my first million dollars. It’s where I retired my parents. It’s where I bought my first home. I was able to help hundreds of people through it,” she said. “I’m so incredibly grateful for how far that platform has taken me.”
She framed her exit not as a rejection of her past, but as a shift in priorities. “I’m moving on to something that I actually feel is my purpose, and it’s going to actually fulfill my soul.”
Araujo teased that her current links will be replaced at midnight on New Year’s Day, hinting at a new venture to come. “What are they switching to? I don’t know. Stay tuned because it’s going to be literally fucking insane and I cannot wait for you guys to see it.”
