Warner Bros. Television Group and Kaley Cuoco are extending their long-standing creative partnership with an expansive new overall deal for The Flight Attendant star and executive producer Cuoco and her production company, Yes, Norman Productions.

WBTVG can confirm that it is an exclusive, multi-year pact. Financial terms were not disclosed, per Studio policy.

Cuoco and her Yes, Norman Productions team — led by Executive Vice President Suzanne McCormack — will continued to develop new original programming for all platforms: streaming services (including WarnerMedia’s HBO Max), cable, and the broadcast networks.

“Warner Bros. has been my home away from home for as long as I can remember which makes this partnership so special on every level. I look forward to much-continued success with my extended family!!!!!”

This is Cuoco’s third overall agreement with the Studio. In 2017, she formed Yes, Norman Productions and signed her first WBTVG deal to develop new original programming, and followed that with a new pact in 2019.

Cuoco’s relationship with the Studio dates back to 2007 and the debut of The Big Bang Theory. The blockbuster hit comedy ran for 12 seasons and 279 episodes, making it the longest-running multicamera series in television history.

Through her Warner Bros. deal, Cuoco developed, executive produced and starred in the acclaimed HBO Max hit series The Flight Attendant, which debuted on Thanksgiving 2020 and has been renewed for a second season. All eight episodes of the first season are now streaming on HBO Max.

After collaborating on The Flight Attendant, Kaley Cuoco recently re-teamed with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television to land the rights to Doris Day: Her Own Story, the legendary singer’s official biography/autobiography, by A.E. Hotchner. The project is currently in development, with Cuoco slated to star.

And through the Warner Bros. Global Kids, Young Adults, and Classics division, Cuoco is an executive producer and voices the title character of Warner Bros. Animation’s critically acclaimed adult animated comedy series Harley Quinn. HBO Max has ordered a third season of the hit series, and the first two seasons are now streaming on the service.

Most recently, Kaley Cuoco and Yes, Norman acquired rights to A Season with Mom, by author Katie Russell Newland. Book summary: Cancer survivor and baseball enthusiast Katie Russell embarks on the adventure of a lifetime: visiting all thirty Major League Baseball parks in one season. Along the way, Katie shares memories and reflections of her baseball-loving mother, who died of cancer before she and Katie could check this item off their bucket list together.

The Flight Attendant delivered the strongest launch for an original series on HBO Max, including HBO Original Series titles and Max Originals. The first season of the comedic thriller saw week-over-week growth and ranked as HBO Max’s #1 series overall during its eight-episode run. Season one has a 98% positive score on Rotten Tomatoes based on more than 60 critics’ reviews.

For her work on the first season of The Flight Attendant, Kaley Cuoco received multiple nominations from the Screen Actors Guild Awards (Female Actor in a Comedy Series, as well as Ensemble in a Comedy Series), Critics Choice Awards (Actress in a Comedy Series, as well as Best Comedy Series), and the Golden Globe Awards (Actress in a TV Series – Musical or Comedy, as well as TV Series – Musical or Comedy). She was also nominated for a Producers Guild Award (Producer of Episodic TV, Comedy).

In addition to those nominations for Kaley Cuoco, The Flight Attendant has received nominations from the Directors Guild Awards (Directorial Achievement in a Comedy Series), Writers Guild Awards (New Series), Art Directors Guild Awards (Single-Camera TV Series), and the Motion Picture Sound Editors Golden Reel Awards (Sound Editing, Episodic Short Form, Dialogue and ADR), among others.
