Ram is shifting into high gear for Super Bowl LIX with a spectacular, action-packed twist on Goldilocks and the Three Bears, starring Glen Powell and a fleet of powerhouse trucks. Created by GSD&M and directed by David Leitch (John Wick, Deadpool 2, Bullet Train), the 60-second film, Drive Your Own Story, reimagines the bedtime story with fire-breathing dragons, volcanic jumps, and actual (CGI) bears.
Powell, known for his roles in Top Gun: Maverick, Twisters, and Hit Man, plays “Uncle Glen,” telling a supercharged version of Goldilocks to his real-life twin niece and nephew, Gwen and Witt. Instead of choosing between bowls of porridge, Powell’s “Goldilocks” must decide which Ram truck is “just right” for his adventures: the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger, a groundbreaking electric-hybrid truck; the heavy-duty Ram 2500 Rebel, built for brute strength; or the Ram 1500 RHO, an off-road beast.
Set to Van Halen’s high-energy anthem Panama, the film follows Powell as he puts each Ram truck to the test. With the Ramcharger, he flexes his artistic skills with chainsaw wood carving. With the Ram 2500 Rebel, he slays a dragon and tows it away in a massive smoker for an epic barbecue.
Then, with the Ram 1500 RHO, he jumps across active volcanoes in the ultimate test of off-road dominance. As the wild adventure wraps up, Powell is brought back to reality by his niece and nephew, capping off a bedtime story like no other. Watch below:
Ram’s Super Bowl presence is significant as Stellantis is the only automaker airing commercials in this year’s Big Game. According to Ram Brand CEO Tim Kuniskis, the ad highlights freedom and choice for truck buyers. He explains that whether it’s gasoline, electric, or hybrid power, Ram customers—like Glen—have the ability to choose what’s just right for their story.
Powell, a longtime fan of Ram trucks, was thrilled to team up with the brand. He spent most of the Twisters shoot in a Ram truck, so this felt like a natural continuation of that connection. Being part of this Super Bowl spot felt right, and working with David Leitch and his real-life niece and nephew made the experience even more special.
Director David Leitch said the goal was to take a classic story and give it a bold, unexpected twist, just like Ram does with every truck it builds.
Beyond the game, Ram is launching exclusive merchandise tied to the Big Game commercial, including plush dragons and bears, T-shirts, hoodies, blankets, and a dragon-wing hot sauce. Fans can watch the extended 90-second version of Drive Your Own Story on Ram’s YouTube channel. The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger will be available for orders in the second quarter of 2025.
With Goldilocks and the Three Trucks, Ram isn’t just delivering a Super Bowl ad—it’s putting truck buyers in the driver’s seat of their own adventure.
