Sometimes, the best ads don’t just sell, they hunt. Garage Beer has teamed up with 20th Century Studios and Jason Kelce for Thermal Buzz, a tongue-in-cheek short film celebrating the upcoming release of Predator: Badlands.
Part brand spot, part parody, Thermal Buzz takes fans deep into the Predator universe… through the eyes of a few beer-loving humans who probably wouldn’t last long in the jungle. The 30-second spot, running during select NFL games and across @drinkgaragebeer’s social channels, pays homage to the original 1987 classic, complete with thermal vision gags, over-the-top one-liners, and a heavy pour of Garage Beer’s “beer-flavored beer.”
“As a 90’s kid there’s nothing I loved more than a good action movie,” said Jason Kelce, who stars in the short. “It’s hard to top Predator—the quotes, the memes, the mayhem. We’re just pumped that Thermal Buzz gets to be part of that moment. I can’t wait to see Predator: Badlands.” Watch below:
Filmed just outside Orlando and directed by Jordan Phoenix, Thermal Buzz features cameos from pro-wrestler Matt Cardona and Super Bowl champ Beau Allen, blending locker-room humor with jungle-grade chaos. It’s packed with nods to the Schwarzenegger original—only “dumber,” as the brand gleefully admits.
The collaboration marks another bold entertainment crossover for Garage Beer, whose offbeat sense of humor continues to carve out a cult following among sports and pop culture fans alike.
So this Halloween, grab a Garage Beer (Classic Light or Lime), hop in your chopper, and get ready for Predator: Badlands hitting theaters November 7. Because in this jungle, only the crisp survive.
