Day One Agency announced that Fiza Gujaran has joined the Executive Leadership team in a newly created role as Executive Vice President of People, Culture and Diversity on the Executive Leadership Team. Gujaran will report to Josh Rosenberg, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder and Brad Laney, President and Co-Founder.

In this role, Fiza will oversee all recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, workplace culture, DE&I infrastructure and process across all of the agency’s offices including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Portland.

“We’re continuing to invest in our people function by tailoring new programs to the specific needs of our team and the next generation of our hybrid workforce,” said Brad Laney. “Coming off a year of 50% people and revenue growth and with our expansion plans, we know Fiza brings the right mix of creativity, innovation and collaboration that will help us inspire and develop our expanding team as we continue to build the agency.”

“I am thrilled to be joining Day One Agency. I have always been passionate about building future leaders and helping organizations and their people operate at their full potential,” Gujaran shared. “I was drawn to Day One’s steadfast investment in their people, workplace and culture. I am looking forward to playing my part in building the future of this creative organization.”

REELated:

Gujaran joins Day One Agency from AlixPartners where she served as the Head of People for their Turnaround and Restructuring business for the last 7 years – leading talent acquisition, workforce management and development, performance management and compensation planning. Fiza has had the opportunity to help grow its headcount by over 150% in the last 7 years.

Prior to AlixPartners, Fiza worked as an external client-facing Human Capital consultant at KPMG and Deloitte and in HR business partner roles at Oliver Wyman and GMAC ResCap.

This news comes on the heels of Day One Agency’s own rapid growth over the last year, which saw a 52% increase in total staff, and a nearly 50% increase in revenue. This growth has been spearheaded by the introduction of Day One Studios, as well as expansion to new markets such as Chicago and Portland.

Reel 360 News wishes Fiza Gujaran the best of luck at Day One.
