Invincible

Prime Video has revealed the official trailer and key art for Season Four of Invincible, confirming the critically acclaimed animated series will return on March 18, 2026.

Produced by Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios, the new season will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The trailer teases the long-awaited Viltrumite War, signaling a darker, more consequential chapter for Mark Grayson as the fate of humanity hangs in the balance.

Season Four picks up as the world recovers from catastrophe and a changed Mark struggles to protect the people he loves. His efforts ultimately place him on a collision course with a threat that could permanently reshape humanity. Watch below:

The announcement comes on the heels of a historic run for the series. Season Three stands as the most-watched animation season of all time on Prime Video and the biggest returning season across all adult animation originals on the platform. The season earned a 2025 Critics’ Choice Award nomination for Best Animated Series, alongside back-to-back Primetime Emmy nominations in 2024 and 2025.

Critically, Invincible has remained one of the strongest reviewed animated series in recent years. The first two seasons earned Certified Fresh status on Rotten Tomatoes, with the series winning the Golden Tomato Award for Best Animated Series in 2023. Season Three continued that streak with a rare 100 percent score.

Based on the award-winning comic book series by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, with contributing creator Ryan Ottley, Invincible stars Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, and J.K. Simmons. The expansive voice cast also includes Gillian Jacobs, Seth Rogen, Walton Goggins, Lee Pace, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jason Mantzoukas, Zazie Beetz, Zachary Quinto, Mark Hamill, Danai Gurira, and many others.

The series is produced by Skybound Animation Studio. Executive producers include Kirkman, David Alpert, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, Catherine Winder, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg.

With the Viltrumite War officially on the horizon, Invincible Season Four is shaping up to be the series’s most ambitious chapter yet.
