Hoo Hoo! Pillsbury Doughboy celebrates his 60th bday at home

Pillsbury

The Pillsbury Doughboy is turning 60, and he’s celebrating like never before by inviting fans inside his home for the first time. To mark the milestone, the beloved mascot has launched a first-of-its-kind augmented reality experience that lets fans step into his cozy, flour-dusted world.

Inside his 2,358-square-foot “Modern Doughhouse Revival,” visitors can explore rooms packed with whimsical details — a giant oven, a warm living room, and a spacious doughy yard — while discovering limited-edition collectibles and hidden Easter eggs, like new recipes and fun historical tidbits.

Among the must-have items inside the virtual house:

Pillsbury Doughboy Cookie Jar – a nostalgic 1988 design reimagined for 2025.
Holiday Pillsbury Shape Cookie Slippers – fleece-lined comfort featuring Christmas tree, snowman, and reindeer patterns.
Holiday Pillsbury Shape Cookie Glass Set – for dunking your favorite cookies in a matching festive style.

Fans can access the experience by visiting doughplacelikehome.com and scanning any can of Pillsbury crescent rolls, biscuits, or cinnamon rolls. Take a look below:

“For 60 years, the Pillsbury Doughboy has been a beloved part of family traditions and everyday moments in kitchens across America,” noted Michelle Odland, Vice President and Business Unit Director, Pillsbury. “Inviting fans to experience the warmth of his home for the first time felt like the perfect way to celebrate this milestone birthday. Through this immersive AR world and limited-edition collectibles, we’re giving people new ways to connect with the Doughboy and bring a touch of his joy into their own homes.”

The Doughboy’s home made its debut on NBC’s new series On Brand with Jimmy Fallon during the October 17 episode, where contestant Pyper Bleu’s winning concept came to life in partnership with The On Brand Agency. The whole episode is now streaming on Peacock.

For the truly curious, the Doughboy’s house even has a Zillow listing here — complete with its own real estate specs and sweet surprises.

Fans can join the celebration by sharing selfies from inside the AR experience or showing off their new Pillsbury merch on social media using @Pillsbury and #DoughPlaceLikeHome.
