The faith-led He Gets Us campaign will return to the Super Bowl this weekend for the fourth consecutive year, continuing its distinctive presence on advertising’s biggest stage with a new 60-second film titled Is There More to Life Than More.
Created by Lerma and directed by Salomon Ligthelm of PRETTYBIRD, the spot was commissioned by Come Near, the organization behind the He Gets Us initiative. The film is set to air in the second half of the Big Game and anchors a broader campaign running through mid-2026.
The spot opens with rapid-fire images of excess and distraction: gambling tables, endless social feeds, cosmetic procedures, speeding cars, fireworks, and VR headsets. A retro, ’60s-style voiceover urges viewers to “learn to get more pleasure out of this,” as the word “MORE” pulses across the screen in shifting typefaces.
The momentum abruptly halts, giving way to a quiet outdoor moment. A lone figure looks toward the sky as the message reframes itself, asking whether there may be something deeper beyond constant consumption. The film closes by directing viewers to the He Gets Us website. Watch below:
Is There More to Life Than More builds on the campaign’s central premise that, amid the noise and pressure of modern life, faith can offer an alternative to material accumulation and social validation. The work explores themes of excess, dissatisfaction, and the relentless pursuit of “more,” positioning spiritual reflection as a counterpoint.
Five spots were shot on film over nine days in Los Angeles, with three released as teasers in December and additional films scheduled to roll out throughout 2026.
Since first appearing in the Super Bowl in 2023, He Gets Us has carved out a unique role in the lineup by committing Super Bowl-level media investment to a faith-based message rather than a commercial product. This year’s placement marks its fourth consecutive return to the Big Game.
