Harbor strengthens its commercial VFX team

VFX house Harbor grows its team with the hiring of accomplished Lead VFX artists Terry Silberman and Matt Motal and their long-standing producing partner Pravina Sippy.  In the announcement released today, Harbor CEO, Zak Tucker stated, “This expansion of our talent and EP roster in Harbor’s LA studio is in line with the company’s continued drive to build upon our success and offer innovative creative artistry to our clients.”

Matt Motal

Motal has built an impressive reputation for his skill and approach over the past 15 years, after holding senior positions with Arsenal Creative, Mirada Studios, 1.1 VFX and Motion Theory. Motal’s arrival at Harbor further bolsters the team’s capability to deliver at the highest level.

Pravina Sippy

Sippy joins HARBOR as Executive Producer, Commercial VFX and Finishing, LA. Sippy’s 11+ year career has taken her to partner with leading brands including GM, State Farm, Toyota, NFL, Kia and many more. Sippy has also collaborated across genres working on music videos for Dr. Dre and Muse and short films, including one for Canon helmed by celebrated director Bryce Dallas Howard. Most recently, she oversaw Arsenal Creative’s color department which she helped to build from the ground up.

Commenting on her new role, Sippy said: “I’m thrilled Harbor’s given me the opportunity to grow this VFX and finishing department and be a part of developing its commercial slate. Working directly with the global offices and having top tier editorial, color, and sound talent at my disposal is a dream come true.”
