This morning, Kevin Fraser is probably smiling on his commute to gyro.

The full-service global B2B agency has appointed advertising veteran Fraser to serve as the company’s first-ever Head of Precision in the United States.

The agency states this is a way of extending its commitment to delivering business decision-makers with innovative media, search and social solutions across all addressable channels.

Fraser brings 20-plus years of industry experience working with some of the most renowned global agency networks in the world, such as J. Walter Thompson, Publicis, Omnicom Media Group and Universal McCann.

His achievements across brands, categories and consumer segments stand out in award-winning work for Fortune 500 clients such as Kraft Foods, Oscar Mayer, WellPoint and Microsoft.

In this new role, Fraser is charged with overseeing the strategic efforts for gyro’s clients and fast-growing U.S. media operation, which includes media buying and planning, search, paid social, programmatic, data strategy and analytics.

Fraser said, “I’m excited to bring my experience and knowledge to gyro and the Dentsu Aegis Network. With today’s rapidly changing media landscape, our innovative work and data-informed outcomes will make a meaningful difference to our clients in furthering their market positions.”

Prior to gyro, Fraser was SVP, Communications Planning Director at Carat, where he oversaw the global Microsoft Consumer business. He was also a core member of the pitch team that won the $3 billion global Volkswagen Group media business at PHD, the largest win in the agency’s history.

Stuart Giddings, Global President of gyro, said, “We are very excited to have someone of Kevin’s stature joining gyro to lead our U.S. media team. Kevin brings with him a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of both U.S. and global media strategies that will further enhance our media offering in this most important B2B market.”

Fraser plans to build on the success of gyro’s U.S. media capability by driving the development of the agency’s B2B focused, proprietary channel planning frameworks to deliver true brand-to-demand solutions to its clients.

Additionally, Fraser will be responsible for collaborating with media teams spanning the Dentsu Aegis Network to ensure clients benefit from the deep digital and data capabilities across the group.
