Gravity Global has named Jennifer Coulson chief communications officer and managing director, creating a new global leadership role as the independent network puts greater emphasis on communications, PR, social media and executive visibility.

Based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Coulson will report directly to CEO Jose Lozano and lead Gravity Global’s communications strategy across internal and external communications, social media, public relations and earned media.

“Jennifer has a remarkable ability to connect strategy with commercial impact,” Lozano said. “Her appointment as Chief Communications Officer marks an important step in Gravity’s next phase of international growth.”

Lozano said Coulson will also help reinforce the company’s culture and values while communicating Gravity’s positioning in complex markets and its AI-native approach.

RKD Group acquires Whiteboard to expand creative firepower

Coulson joined Gravity Global through its acquisition of VOCO Creative, the social media and content agency she co-founded and led.

In her new role, she will oversee PR and earned media strategy, shape the agency’s external narrative, and build a broader global communications team. She will also continue partnering with clients across sectors including healthcare, financial services, aerospace, automotive, engineering and technology.

“Gravity has reached an exciting inflection point,” Coulson said. “I’m thrilled to help build a global communications engine that sharpens our market presence, unites our teams, and helps our clients navigate the profound shifts AI is bringing to brand trust.”

Coulson brings more than 30 years of experience across M&A, private equity, and business transformation, with work spanning CPG, food and beverage, and health and wellness.

Her previous leadership roles include Boulder Brands, where she worked on acquisitions and integrations tied to brand growth, and Transcend Foods, which she co-founded. She also founded and scaled a diabetes healthcare startup from zero to $5 million in revenue.

According to Gravity Global, Coulson also helped transform the Atkins business, where sales doubled and earnings tripled over three years.
