GloRilla foes full-circle with Checkers & Rally’s in new campaign

Checkers & Rally's GloRilla

Grammy-nominated rapper GloRilla has gone from working the drive-thru to starring in the menu. The CMG artist is front and center in Checkers & Rally’s latest This Eats Different campaign, created by Partners + Napier, marking a homecoming for the Memphis native who once clocked in at the chain before hitting the big time.

The campaign introduces the Glo’s BBQ Jacked Burger, a sweet-and-spicy signature creation headlining the limited-time $4 Unbeatable Meal Deal. It’s part nostalgia trip, part brand swagger — celebrating GloRilla’s rise while giving fans a taste of her style.

“GloRilla is someone our audience sees themselves in,” said Scott Johnson, Checkers & Rally’s CMO. “She’s ambitious, original, and hungry for more — the ultimate mix of vibe and value.”

The spot leans into the rapper’s authenticity, connecting her hustle and unapologetic energy with the brand’s own bold, over-the-top personality. Rob Kottkamp, chief creative officer at Partners + Napier, says the collab works because it’s rooted in truth: “She’s not just lending her name; she’s coming back home to a brand that’s part of her history.” Watch below:

The work is rolling out across TV, CTV, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and digital (PMax), making sure fast food fans everywhere know that Glo’s burger is here — but only for a short time.

With a mix of celebrity cred, personal backstory, and crave-worthy flavor, Checkers & Rally’s has served up more than a meal — it’s a full-circle moment with extra sauce.
