This holiday season, Ford Motor Company is giving Santa Claus the one gift even he can’t manufacture in his workshop: a little peace and quiet.
In a charming new campaign titled “Naptime,” created by VML, Santa hands over the keys to his Bronco for Ford Pickup & Delivery, the brand’s convenient service that picks up your vehicle, handles maintenance, and brings it back — no waiting room required. While Ford takes care of the car, Santa finally grabs some long-overdue sleep during the busiest month of his year.
It’s a simple premise with clever impact. If Ford Pickup & Delivery can free up time for the planet’s most overscheduled icon, it can definitely make life easier for the rest of us. Watch below:
Andrea Howard, US Marketing Retail Service Marketing Lead at Ford, described the work as the perfect blend of charm and functionality: “We are proud of the work with VML and excited to demonstrate the convenience of Ford Pickup & Delivery in such a memorable way. The campaign is a charming reminder that everyone could use more time to rest, and showing that through a character as iconic as Santa Claus makes the message resonate perfectly.”
Robert Guisgand, Chief Creative Officer, North America, WPP, Ford, noted the importance of cultural resonance: “We know that work rooted in culture performs best on social. So, for the holidays, we wanted to create something that connects with owners, puts a smile on their face, and showcases the benefits of Ford Mobile Service in a fun, memorable way.”
With “Naptime,” Ford taps directly into the holiday hustle — and offers a solution that feels both practical and delightfully human. Sometimes, the best thing you can give is time… even to Santa.
The spot is now running across social and digital channels.
